She Rose.
She Stepped, She Painted, She Rose is a powerful, western-themed fundraiser hosted by The She Rose Foundation USA’s Prince George’s County Chapter, designed to bring the community together through art, advocacy, and movement. This unique experience blends a guided health justice-themed painting session, personal storytelling highlighting Black women’s healthcare journeys, and boots-on-the-ground line dancing—all in one empowering afternoon.
Attendees will not only enjoy creativity and connection, but also take part in something greater: advancing health equity for Black women and girls right here in Prince George’s County. Come dressed in your western best, ready to paint with purpose and step with pride.

Why This Event Matters.
She Stepped, She Painted, She Rose is more than an event—it’s a statement. Black women continue to face disproportionate challenges in healthcare, from chronic illness mismanagement to systemic bias and lack of access to culturally competent care. In Prince George’s County, these disparities are not just statistics—they are lived realities for our mothers, sisters, daughters, and neighbors.
This event creates space for healing, expression, and action. Every brushstroke and every step taken during this event supports real change.
