Niaomi MoShier is a Master of Public Health student at George Washington University with a deep commitment to health equity, advocacy, and social justice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with double minors in Biology and Chemistry from Howard University and is on track to complete her MPH in 2025.
Niaomi is deeply involved in extracurricular activities that align with her passion for advocacy, public health, and social justice. She has held leadership roles in organizations such as the Black Caucus of Health Workers, where she serves as Vice Secretary of Publicity, and the Health Policy Student Association, where she was the Online Liaison. Her commitment to community engagement extends to her work with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the New York Civil Liberties Union, and the NYC Youth Agenda Coalition. Additionally, Niaomi is an active member of the American Public Health Association, Sisters in Public Health, and the National Council of Negro Women. She has also demonstrated a strong dedication to mentorship and service through her involvement in Alpha Phi Omega, where she served as First Vice President of the Zeta Phi Chapter. Through these affiliations, she continues to advocate for equity, amplify marginalized voices, and drive meaningful change in public health policy and practice.
